Ryan has been ripping Oahu's South and North Shores for decades. He has been riding the VDK model since the inception so it's the perfect choice for his Pro Model. Tweaked for his high performance demands with the same tried and true template, raised rails were removed to thin out the rail volume, enhanced Tension Tech Core, Mesh, and Surlyn bottom.

-100% Drop Knee specific template
-Double concave bottom (increased water flow off fins and through tail creating speed)
-Tension Tech: A Mesh Sub Sandwich; a sheet of mesh that is laminated between 2 layers of 1.5mm IXLPP “substrate” to form a “sandwich” construction. The Mesh Sub Sandwich is then laminated to the deck surface of the core, before the slick and regular deck is applied.
-Nose kick 1.75" (reduces pearling)
-Raised rails (raised at deck along rail edge at foot to knee for added control)
-Shin locks (recessed shin grooves at tail to lock you in)
-V-Tail (Straight angles create more speed from water releasing off of the tail, the tips create bite and the deep V pivots rail to rail with a quick release)
